Harry is much better--sitting, standing walking. Still really tired. Still has pain. But much better. The nice nurse was there tonight, but she's off for a few days after today. Incentive to come home!

So glad to see you today. Sorry for your pain, but hope it gets better each day. We send lots of hugs and will see you soon. Keep your positive spirit. Love Sue and Rob
Harry's trials and tribulations in the hospital really do sound like business as usual....that is why someone has to be on top of the details. The pain med kink happens all the time....and if the patient is complaining of pain....take the extra second to look for a kink. He will be home soon and on his way to feeling better. All good wishes to you both.......Robin & Una
Harry -- walking??? That is super! Imagine a huge hug (without knocking you off your feet)!
(I also have to confess that I love the blog. It is such a wonderful way to keep in touch. I find myself thinking throughout the day, wonder if there is a new post and update and wanting to check in all the time!)
Glad to hear that Harry is up walking and progressing on schedule and that his pain is normal post-op...Easy for the Dr. to say since he isn't feeling the pain. Hope the meds help. Harry try to visualize the enjoyment you will have next summer playing golf on Bethpage Black. Hopefully that image will make you smile and keep the positive energy flowing! Love again from the Steinmetzs
On August 11, 2009, Harry is having back surgery. So many of our family and friends have asked us to keep them updated that we decided to start this blog to report on his progress.
Thank you for traveling on this journey with us. You can subscribe to this blog below.
