Talking to Mom

Mom: "Are you worried?"
Me: "About what?
Mom: "About what they gonna do to you."
Me: "I'm ready."
Mom: "Aren't ya scared?"
Me: "Should I be?"
Mom: "I would be ."
Me: "Nah. I have a good doctor. I'm healthy except for the back pain (leg pain). What else can I do? What good is being worried or scared."
Mom: "I dunno. I'm worried for you. Somebody has to be."

Hey, if Mom can't worry, who can? Harry, my thoughts will be with you. You'll be the bionic man (not many of us are left who remember Lee Majors!!) when they're finished with you. All the best for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Regards, Dave Binder

SO glad to hear the the surgery is over and went well. As for all the mishaps, all I can say is that it is once again proof that anyone in the hospital needs an advocate. Thanks goodness, Barb, you are there as his. A suggestion from one who loves you is that the nice Southerner that you are might not be enough of a "get it fiexed" approach!!!

If it is not too painful, Give Harry a kiss from us.
